Surf Carnival presented by Jeep Apparel - postponed
To all our loyal sponsors, competitors and supporters.
We take this opportunity to advise that at this time we have not secured enough financial sponsorship to continue with the 2015 edition of the Durban Surf Carnival presented by Jeep Apparel, in its current form which was due to take place on 10 - 12 July 2015.
Nerve Events has always strived to create an enjoyable and professionally presented event that befits the sporting codes and the investment made by our sponsors and competitors and their families who loyally support the event every year, travelling from different parts of the country to join us here in Durban. An event of this calibre requires a fair amount of financial sponsorship.
To this end we are currently negotiating with more sponsors to encourage them to support this event but confirmation of any new sponsorship is unlikely to be a reality for July 2015.
If these potential additional sponsors commit for 2015 , we will consider holding this event possibly in October of this year.
If not, Nerve Events will continue looking to secure sponsorship to enable us to hold the event again in 2016.
Nerve Events would like to thank everyone who has shared our enthusiasm for this event over the last 12 years.
